Fijne rustige plek
Hele lekkere plek om te zitten in Sideman. Waarom? Je zit niet tussen alleen de resorts maar tussen de boertjes die aan het werk zijn op de rijstvelden. Heeft veel privacy en het is schoon. Heerlijk groot bed. Zeer lieve vrouw Feri die je graag helpt met alles wat je wil weten.

Beautiful villa and wonderful staff
We had a wonderful relaxing stay at the villa. The villa is beautiful and well kept, and the staff do a great job keeping it clean and accommodating our requests. The villa is elegant but still manages to be child friendly at the same time. We were a party with 4 young children and everyone was very happy. It is close walking distance to the beach, which wasn't the cleanest or quietest, but still nice to spend some time. The onsite staff are really lovely, giving us privacy but still being helpful. Lina's cooking was also very good.

Beautiful and Blissful!
Could not say a bad word about our experience with Sea Shanty, from booking to departure. The villa is stunning, well maintained, close to the beach but away from noise / crowds. Staff are absolutely exceptional and our stay was too short. Highly recommend Sea Shanty and I know I am in good company!

Absolutely fabulous!
It's difficult to describe just how great our stay at Sea Shanty was. From the moment we arrived, Lina and Supri made us feel right at home and looked after us superbly until we left. Nothing was too much for them, even our mixed requests for lunch and dinner (to appease the kids). We stayed with another family (so a total of 4 adults and 4 kids), and the villa was great for this. The kids loved the bunk room, which had four large beds (not your average bunks!). The villa layout with large sitting area looking out over the pool is perfect for relaxing whilst the kids enjoy the pool. Jimbaran beach with all the fish restaurants is a very short stroll, and there are nearby hotels if you wish the spend a bit more on drinks and facilities. We did lots of other stuff from the villa (water park, Rock Bar, Uluwatu temple and show etc) and it was all so easy - Lina arranged a driver and nothing was too far away. All in all, we and our friends and the kids loved it, our stay was just about perfect and we think it is somewhere we will try to visit again soon.

Perfect villa for a family holiday
The Sea Shanty fulfilled all of our expectations during our recent family holiday in Bali. In particular, this was due to the amazing caretaker couple who looked after our family of 5 Adults and three children as if we were their own family. We are a family of three generations who wanted the intimacy that a resort does not offer. The proximity to the beautiful beach at Jimbaran is also a huge bonus. The villa presented exactly as the photographs shown on Tripadvisor.

Amazing villa
Villa is a superb surprise when you open the front door into a oasis. Some great rooms, fun bathrooms, great kids space upstairs and tv room for them to relax Location is great and only a couple of minutes walk to beach and restaurants. Try Cuca and Fat Chow, great food and kids really well looked after. Also went to Waterbom, which is a great park and brilliantly done. Also for white rafting we used Bali adventures, little bit more expensive but so much better then the rest ( be ready for the stairs back up) Lina and family really looked after us, did not cook as per others as we had just spent a week after another villa being catered so made most of all the restaurants.. She was brilliant with kids and house was really looked after Only reason I did not give 5 stars is that there is a really noisy school just next door, from 7am in the morning there are tannoy announcements and loads of noise. Be wary as also mosquitos are really active here so need to make sure you and children constantly covered

We just keep coming back, it's our absolute favourite villa in Bali!
We have been to Bali over 10 times in the last 7 years, and we have now stayed at The Sea Shanty 3 times (in the last 3 years). We have 3 kids (aged 6, 4, and 2) we just can't fault The Sea Shanty - it's our home away from home. We love the location - just a short walk to a golden sandy beach - which is perfect for kids, as it has soft gentle waves - it's so calm my 2 year can swim there with confidence. We also love the villa property - it's very easy living, and we love the style - particularly the kitchen - which just makes you want to stay in or cook ... or have the famous Lina cook for you. Finally the staff are AMAZING, Lina and her husband and son we're are like our Bali family now - they love seeing the kids, and nothing is too much trouble. Lina's English is perfect, and it is just so relaxing knowing that the staff are there for you.

Wow, what a place! it was all so perfect, spotless, peaceful, relaxing, and the staff were so friendly and helpful, we felt thoroughly spoilt. Everything you need is at the villa and it is well maintained. Lena cooked for us most days and what a treat that was from a beautiful breakfast, fantastic lunches and superb dinners, traditional Indonesian cuisine at its best! A holiday I will never forget..............Thank you

The most family friendly Home away from home in Bali
this is my second time staying and we loved it even more. The villa is so well set up for a family, plenty of space and the room size is more than adequete. The kids bunk bed rooms are gorgeous and the beds are so comfy! The villa staff are the cherry on the top, with their friendly service, meals, helpfulness, they take care of you so well! We love lying by the private pool and enjoying walks to the beach. can't wait to go back!
